Kevin Lordan
Co-Founder / Master Craftsman
Kevin is a master craftsman and teacher at The Yorkshire Hut Company, with over 35 years’ experience and a BA Hons in Design. Passionate about working with timber from a young age, he has developed expertise in everything from construction to fine furniture making. Known for his meticulous attention to detail and problem-solving skills, Kevin consistently delivers outstanding results. He is also an excellent communicator and has trained many apprentices in architectural joinery, inspiring the next generation of craftsmen.
Pennie Lordan
Co-Founder / Business Manager / Artist
Pennie is an artist and business manager who co-founded The Yorkshire Hut Company, blending her expertise in art and design with a passion for creating high-quality outdoor saunas, cold plunges and shepherd’s huts. She oversees every stage from design to delivery, ensuring each product meets the highest standards of functionality, aesthetics, and environmental responsibility. With a meticulous approach and excellent communication skills, Pennie guides the team to deliver exceptional results and a remarkable client experience.
Theo Lordan
Fully Qualified Architectural Joiner
Theo began studying at Leeds Arts University but soon realised his true passion was to train and join the family business. Over seven years, he has become a key member of The Yorkshire Hut Co, bringing passion and dedication shaped by his early involvement since childhood. After completing a three-year apprenticeship in Architectural Bench Joinery, Theo is known for his exceptional craftsmanship, attention to detail, and fresh ideas that energise the team. With a natural thirst for knowledge, he continually seeks to develop new skills and contribute to the business’s growth and quality.
